Travel Republic is an online travel company specialising in packaging together accommodation with travel, to give customers unlimited choice and freedom with their travel plans.
Travel Republic's cruising division needed an extensible, scalable, and structural update to their site, inline with similar sites within their holding group.
I initially provided wireframes and pattern libraries to the design & development team, but over time I was drafted to design the whole UI for the site, totalling some 50+ interface designs and a similar volume of wireframes and supporting documentation.
The main deliverables for this project were:
Due to the volume of pages, we audited the current site and came up with a list of templates. These templates could then accommodate in some form or another every page required for the project.
The easiest and most time-efficient way of presenting our findings was to create a suite of wireframes, complete with a GUI library, from which most content needs could be addressed quickly.
The site's interface was designed specifically to be able to cope with further amendments and upgrades. It also had to tie in with a number of third-party softwares and integrations.
